Hi, i am unable to play far cry 4 through steam family sharing even though i have access to the owners uplay account. when trying to launch from uplay, steam will say that the game is running.
still trying to find a win 10 driver that works best for my GTX 960 ..but so far all have worked with Fac Cry 3 and 4 no crashes and i ran both games for over a few hours last night useing 353.60 this morning i backdated the drivers to see if i could clean up the blurry text on my \desktop ran both FC3 and F C4 no issiues Far cry 6 game won‘t start FIX. I found this comment under a YouTube video, so all credits go to that guy. Basically you need the overwrite the files from [bin] with the ones from [bin_plus]
I reinstalled Far Cry 4 on Steam a few days ago to play with a friend who got in on sale, this issue only started yesterday, I've tried many different things to fix it. A list of thee things I've done. - Uninstalling and reinstalling Far Cry, - Restarting my PC. - Uninstalling and reinstalling UPlay launcher.
check your backround applications many can cause the game to fail on launch .. things like Discord .. and there is also a list in the tips secrtion pinned up top of this forum see section #10 of Known apps that can cause this due to too many in game overlays. If you continue to have issues PLEASE.
I was stuck with this issue for a few days and tried a lot of different solutions that come up in google searches. Ultimately what worked for me was running all of the installers in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\Support and rebooting my PC. Then I was finally able to start Blood Dragon from Steam.

New Dawn will not launch. Just bought the game on Steam last night but when I press play I get the "prepairing to launch" pop up box for about 1 second then nothing. Open the game through Uplay.
