Ive got a 2011 6MT and am about to drop it off for the 55K service. I'm still on the original brake pads and rotors. Dealer seemed surprised that mine have lasted this long, but told me that the sensors would alert me when they needed service. What are you guys experiencing in terms of pad/rotor life?

While there get a copy of the ETKA diagram that will show its location. Googling "Crash Sensor G283" bought up many images, some for New Beetle though.

Ifound a new sensor on-line for around $130 & our local indie shop replaced the busted one when we were in for an oil change service (charged a half-hour labor or there abouts). The part number is shared by VW, I believe: 8K0-941-309-F. 2014 B8.5 A4Q P+ 2.0T 6MT Monsoon Grey.
Parkingsensors have stopped working, I had been advised by an Audi specialist that the front middle left sensor isn't working, which I have now had them change, but sensors still not working, yellow light flashes and long beep tone can be heard in the car. Garage want the car for 2 days to try and resolve but I would have to pay for the time
Tosee the coolant sensor, you need to remove the throttle body and its input air hose (from the inter-cooler). Viewed from the driver side fender, it's at the top left corner of the water pump housing. 12-23-2022 02:15 PM #4. MongoMcG. Established Member Two Rings.
