The quiver and pouch, you can go all the way if you like, they don’t look that bad, and if you just want to avoid the Curse of the Pharaohs visuals then just don’t get
PostHidden Ones: Bought 7/20 from Nomad's Bazaar to begin upgrades. Upgrades complete, and have 22 Carbon left over and haven't looted everything yet. Curse of the Pharaohs will obviously use more. All else being the same with 2 more upgrade slots per item with item upgrade cost in carbon scaling normally, it's nice to have a head start.

You CAN do the non-lethal takedown still after you get the hidden blade, you just have to equip your barehands as your main weapon and the assassinate prompt turns to takedown.
